IGM Series - Marine Stern Drive System

Early Introduction & Technical Specifications The IGM Series Marine Stern Drive System represents the cutting edge of propulsion technology, tailored specifically to meet the evolving demands of modern marine applications. This series is engineered to provide a versatile and robust solution, optimized for integration with Electric Drivetrains as well as Diesel and Petrol Engines, making it an ideal choice for various marine vessels requiring are liable and efficient propulsion system.

Introduction to Stern Drive Solution

The IGM Series Stern Drive System is a state-of-the-art propulsion solution designed to deliver exceptional performance across a range of marine applications. It is particularly optimized for use with Electric Drivetrains, enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of marine vessels. Additionally, the system is fully compatible with traditional Diesel and Petrol Engines, offering unparalleled flexibility for different vessel configurations. One of the key features of the IGM Series is its reversible gear functionality, which allows for greater maneuverability and control, making it a preferred choice for both commercial and recreational marine operations. The system is engineered to handle a continuous power input rating of 246 kW (kilowatts), equivalent to approximately 330 hp (horsepower), ensuring consistent and reliable performance even under demanding conditions.

General Design Philosophy: IGM Series Marine Stern Drive System

The IGM Series Marine Stern Drive System embodies a design philosophy that is centered around customization, efficiency, and durability, all while embracing the latest advancements in marine propulsion technology. Our approach to design is rooted in the following key principles:

Tailor-Made Design

We recognize that every marine vessel has unique requirements and operational demands. Therefore, the IGM Series is designed to be highly customizable, allowing it to be tailored to the specific needs and prerequisites of different drive trains. Whether integrated with electric, diesel, or petrol engines, our system is engineered to seamlessly meet the expectations of customers looking for cutting-edge propulsion solutions.

Low Noise and Vibration

In marine environments, reducing noise and vibration is critical for both operational efficiency and passenger comfort. The IGM Series has been meticulously designed to operate at low noise and vibration levels, ensuring a smoother and quieter experience on the water. This not only enhances the overall comfort of the vessel but also contributes to the longevity of  the drive system by minimizing wear and tear.

Energy Optimization

Energy efficiency is at the heart of the IGM Series design philosophy. Our system is optimized to minimize energy consumption, whether by reducing the battery carrying
needs of electric-powered vessels or by ensuring minimal fuel usage for diesel and petrol engines. This focus on energy efficiency translates into longer operating times, reduced operating costs, and a smaller environmental footprint.

Integrated Functions and Minimal Moving Parts

The IGM Series is designed with an emphasis on simplicity and reliability. By integrating key functions and minimizing the number of assembled and moving parts exposed to the harsh marine environment, we significantly reduce the potential for mechanical failures. This not only enhances the durability of the system but also simplifies maintenance, leading to lower long-term operating costs.

Fit for Diesel and Petrol Engines

The IGM Series is versatile, designed to be compatible with both diesel and petrol engines. It features a reverse gear box that is strategically located within the vessel, ensuring optimal performance and ease of integration. This design flexibility allows the IGM Series to be a preferred choice for a wide range of marine applications, from recreational boats to commercial vessels.
